Anti-virus software available at VCU
Sophos Anti-virus for Windows version 6.x will expire May 30, 2008. Now students and home users may manually upgrade to Sophos Anti-virus for Windows 7.x. Starting May 12th, Technology Services will begin the process of automatically upgrading Sophos Anti-virus for Windows version 6.x to 7.x, and it will take many days to complete.
Sophos anti-virus provided by Technology Services runs on Windows 2000 and XP. There will not be a version provided for Windows 95, 98, ME or NT. Note: If you have any anti-virus program other than Sophos installed now, be sure to remove your old virus program before installing Sophos.
